Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2020 Mar 08 1230 UTC.

Solar Activity

24 hr Summary: Solar activity was very low. Newly numbered Region 2758 (S29E34, Cro/beta) developed rudimentary penumbra on the its leader spot. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed in available coronagraph imagery.

Forecast: Very low solar activity is expected to continue 08-10 Mar.

Energetic Particle

24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux was normal to moderate and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux remained at background values.

Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to continue at normal to moderate levels 08-10 Mar and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to remain at background.

Solar Wind

24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters, as measured by the DSCOVR spacecraft, reflected near-background conditions. Total magnetic field strength ranged from 3-7 nT. No significant periods of negative Bz were observed. Solar wind speeds were between 330-412 km/s. Phi angle was variable.

Forecast: A slow regime is expected to continue 08-09 Mar. An enhancement is likely on 10 Mar due to connections to the negative, southern polar crown coronal hole extension and the isolated, equatorial CH HSS.

Geospace

24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was quiet.

Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to be primarily quiet 08-09 Mar. Unsettled to active conditions are likely on 10 Mar due to CH HSS influences.
