Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2020 Mar 19 1230 UTC.

Solar Activity

24 hr Summary: Solar activity was very low. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed in available coronagraph imagery.

Forecast: Very low solar activity is expected to continue 19-21 Mar.

Energetic Particle

24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux was normal to moderate and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux maintained background values.

Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to be at normal to moderate levels, and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to continue at background levels 19-21 Mar.

Solar Wind

24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters saw minor enhancements this period likely due to occasional connection to the southern crown, -CH HSS. Total field values were 3-7 nT, and the Bz component underwent a prolonged southward deflection of -4 to -7 nT. Wind speeds increased over the second half of the period reaching up to ~505 km/s. Phi was predominantly in a negative solar sector.

Forecast: Occasional enhancements in the solar wind environment are anticipated to continue through the forecast period, 19-21 Mar.

Geospace

24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was quiet to unsettled with an isolated active period.

Forecast: Mostly quiet to unsettled conditions are expected 19-21 Mar in response to intermittent influence from the southern crown, -CH HSS.
