Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2020 Mar 20 1230 UTC.
Solar Activity
24 hr Summary: Solar activity was very low. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed in available coronagraph imagery.
Forecast: Very low solar activity is expected to continue 20-22 Mar.
Energetic Particle
24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux was normal to moderate and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux maintained background values.
Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to be at normal to moderate levels on 20 Mar, then increase to moderate to high levels on 21-22 Mar in response to CH HSS influence. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to continue at background levels 20-22 Mar.
Solar Wind
24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters were indicative of a likely, intermittent connection to the southern crown CH HSS. Solar wind speed decreased from a high of 506 km/s to near 420 km/s. Total field ranged from 1-5 nT while the Bz component was between +2/-3 nT. Phi angle was variable through the period.
Forecast: Occasional enhancements in the solar wind environment are anticipated to continue through the forecast period (20-22 Mar), with continued interaction with the southern crown CH HSS.
Geospace
24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was quiet to unsettled.
Forecast: Mostly quiet to unsettled conditions are expected, with a chance for isolated active periods possible, on 20-22 Mar in response to intermittent influence from the southern crown, negative polarity CH HSS.
