Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2020 May 06 1230 UTC.

Solar Activity

24 hr Summary: Very low solar activity continued and sunspots were not observed on the visible disk. No Earth-directed CMEs were noted in available coronagraph imagery.

Forecast: Very low solar activity is expected to continue 06-08 May.

Energetic Particle

24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux was predominantly normal with brief occasions of moderate levels. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux remained at background.

Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to continue at mostly normal levels and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to remain at background 06-08 May.

Solar Wind

24 hr Summary: Solar wind conditions indicated a slow solar wind regime and marginally disturbed IMF. Total IMF strength was slightly elevated and ranged primarily from 4 to 8 nT; while the Bz component underwent a few periods of prolonged southward direction. Solar wind speed was mostly between 300-350 km/s and the phi angle was variable between sectors until about 06/0200 UTC, when it became primarily negative.

Forecast: A slow solar wind regime is likely to continue 06-08 May.

Geospace

24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was predominantly quiet, with a brief period of unsettled conditions at the start of the new UTC-day in response to a period of prolonged southward Bz component.

Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to be primarily quiet 06-08 May.
