Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2020 May 11 1230 UTC.
Solar Activity
24 hr Summary: Solar activity remained at very low levels. The visible disk remained spotless. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed in available satellite imagery.
Forecast: Very low solar activity is expected 11-13 May.
Energetic Particle
24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux reached moderate levels. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux remained at background values.
Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to be at normal to moderate levels on 11-13 May and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to continue at background levels.
Solar Wind
24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters became slightly enhanced due to a heliospheric current sheet crossing event this period. Between around 10/1300-11/0600 UTC solar wind density values increased to around 20 and the magnetic field strength briefly increased to a peak of around 7 nT. The Bz component briefly reached -7 nT during the enhancement, however, solar wind parameters quickly returned to near-background levels following the event.
Forecast: Solar wind parameters are expected to persist at nominal levels over 11-12 May. A slight increase is expected by 13 May due to the influence of a small, isolated, equatorial positive polarity CH HSS.
Geospace
24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was at quiet to unsettled this period.
Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to remain at quiet levels on 11-12 May. By 13 May, unsettled intervals are likely due to weak positive polarity CH HSS influence.
