Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2020 Jun 16 1230 UTC.
Solar Activity
24 hr Summary: Solar activity was very low. Region 2765 (S26W92, Hrx/alpha) remained stable and quiet as it rotated off of the visible disk. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed.
Forecast: Solar activity is expected to be very low on 16-18 Jun.
Energetic Particle
24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux was normal to moderate and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux was steady at background levels.
Forecast: Both the greater than 2 MeV electron and the greater than 10 MeV proton fluxes are expected to remain below event thresholds on 16-18 Jun.
Solar Wind
24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters were at background levels. Solar wind speed ranged from 290-330 km/s, total field averaged near 4 nT, and the Bz component was between +3/-5 nT. Solar wind speeds increased to 450 km/s at 16/0900 UTC and Bt increased to 6 nT. Phi angle was oriented in a mostly positive solar sector until 16/0700 UTC when a SSBC to a negative orientation.
Forecast: Solar wind parameters are expected to be slightly elevated due to a negative polarity CH HSS on 16 Jun and last into 17 Jun. Conditions should begin to settle back to near background levels by 18 Jun as CH HSS influence diminishes.
Geospace
24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was quiet.
Forecast: Mostly quiet to unsettled levels are expected on 16-18 Jun due to SSBC/CH HSS activity.
