Solar Activity
24 hr Summary: Solar activity was very low. Region 2767 (S20E38, Hsx/alpha) was quiet and stable. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed in available coronagraph imagery.
Forecast: Solar activity is expected to remain very low on 24-26 Jul.
Energetic Particles
24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux reached moderate levels and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux remained at background levels.
Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron and 10 MeV proton fluxes are expected to remain below event thresholds on 24-26 Jul.
Solar Wind
24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters, as measured by the DSCOVR spacecraft, reflected the onset of an enhancement in the later half of the reporting period. Total magnetic field strength steadily climbed to a maximum of 11 nT at 24/0600 UTC. The Bz component reached as far south as -9 nT at 24/0549 UTC. Solar wind speeds increased slightly from around 300 to 350-365 around 24/0500 UTC. Phi angle transitioned from the positive sector to the negative sector around 23/2000 UTC.
Forecast: Solar wind parameters are expected to continue at enhanced levels over the forecast period (24-26 Jul) due to combined CH HSS/CME influence.
Geospace
24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was at quiet to unsettled levels.
Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to be at quiet to unsettled levels throughout the forecast period (24-26 Jul), with a chance for isolated active periods on 25 Jul, due to combined CH HSS/CME effects.
