Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2020 Jul 28 1230 UTC.
Solar Activity
24 hr Summary: Solar activity was very low. Region 2767 (S20W14, Hsx/alpha) remained quiescent. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed in available imagery.
Forecast: Solar activity is expected to remain at very low levels on 28-30 Jul.
Energetic Particles
24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux reached moderate levels and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux remained at background levels.
Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron and 10 MeV proton fluxes are expected to remain below event thresholds on 28-30 Jul.
Solar Wind
24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters, as measured by the DSCOVR spacecraft, reflected nominal conditions. Total field strength averaged near 4 nT, the Bz component ranged from +/- 5 nT, and solar wind speeds were between 350-440 km/s. Phi angle remained mostly oriented in the negative sector.
Forecast: The solar wind environment is expected to continue at nominal levels for most of 28 Jul. A weak enhancement is anticipated on 28-29 Jul as a negative polarity CH HSS becomes geoeffective.
Geospace
24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was quiet.
Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to be at quiet to unsettled levels on 28-29 Jul due to the anticipated onset of CH HSS influence. A return to mostly quiet is forecast for 30 Jul.
