Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2020 Sep 24 1230 UTC.
Solar Activity
24 hr Summary: Solar activity was very low. Region 2773 (N28E56) decayed to plage and lacked notable activity. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed.
Forecast: Solar activity is expected to be very low on 24-26 Sep.
Energetic Particles
24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux reached moderate levels while the greater than 10 MeV proton flux continued at background values.
Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to reach moderate levels while the greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to persist at background levels on 24-26 Sep.
Solar Wind
24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters reflected slightly elevated CH HSS conditions. Total magnetic field strength ranged between 4-11 nT. The Bz component was mostly southward and reached a maximum deflection of -10 nT. Solar wind speeds increased from near 350 km/s to 500 km/s. Phi angle was predominately in a positive orientation.
Forecast: An enhanced solar wind environment is expected to persist under a recurrent, positive polarity CH HSS on days one through three (24-26 Sep).
Geospace
24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was at quiet to G1 (Minor) storm levels due to CH HSS influences.
Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to be at unsettled to G1 (Minor) storm levels on day one (24 Sep), and unsettled to active levels are expected on days two and three (25-26 Sep) due to the aforementioned CH HSS influences.
