Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2020 Sep 25 1230 UTC.
Solar Activity
24 hr Summary: Solar activity was very low. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed.
Forecast: Solar activity is expected to be very low on 25-27 Sep.
Energetic Particles
24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux reached high levels at 24/1540 UTC. It peaked just above the 1000 pfu threshold. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux continued at background values.
Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to reach high levels for the next three days (25-27 Sep). The 10 MeV proton flux is expected to persist at background levels.
Solar Wind
24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters were elevated during the period due to CH HSS influences. Solar wind speeds hovered near 500 km/s. Total field was mostly steady at 5 nT while the Bz component was +3/-6. Phi was predominantly positive.
Forecast: An enhanced solar wind environment is expected for the next three days (25-27 Sep) while under the influence of the northern crown CH HSS and its equator-ward extensions.
Geospace
24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was at quiet to active levels due to CH HSS influences.
Forecast: A chance of isolated G1 (Minor) storm conditions are possible all three days (25-27 Sep) due to the CH HSS influence. Otherwise unsettled to active conditions are anticipated.
