Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2020 Oct 12 1230 UTC.
Solar Activity
24 hr Summary: Solar activity remained very low throughout the period. Region 2774 (S24, L=312) decayed to plage this period. Region 2775 (S23W11, Bxo/beta) exhibited slight penumbal decay on both poles. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed in available satellite imagery.
Forecast: Very low solar activity is expected on 12-14 Oct.
Energetic Particle
24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux reached moderate levels and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux was steady at background levels throughout the period.
Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to be at normal to moderate levels on 12-14 Oct. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to remain at background levels.
Solar Wind
24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters reflected nominal conditions. Total magnetic field strength ranged between 1-6 nT, Bz ranged between +/-3 nT, and solar wind speed values were steady at around 300 km/s. Solar wind density values became enhanced late this period and the phi angle was predominately negative.
Forecast: Solar wind parameters are expected to continue at nominal levels over 12-14 Oct.
Geospace
24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was quiet under a nominal solar wind regime.
Forecast: Quiet conditions are expected to prevail over 12-14 Oct.
