Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2020 Nov 18 1230 UTC.
Solar Activity
24 hr Summary: Solar activity continued at very low levels. Region 2782 (S31, L=156) remained an area of plage and was inactive. New Region 2783 (S22E62, Hsx/alpha) was numbered during the period, but remained mostly inactive as well. No Earth-directed CMEs were detected in available satellite imagery.
Forecast: Solar activity is expected to continue at very low levels over 18-20 Nov.
Energetic Particle
24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux was normal to moderate and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux was steady at background levels.
Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to be normal to moderate over 18-20 Nov and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to persist at background levels.
Solar Wind
24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters reflected a mostly background solar wind regime. Solar wind speed averaged 290 km/s. Total field strength was at or below 6 nT, while the Bz component saw weak, southward deviations to -5 nT. Phi angle began oscillating between the positive and negative sectors near the beginning of the period before settling into a mostly positive orientation.
Forecast: Solar wind parameters are expected to persist at background levels over 18-20 Nov.
Geospace
24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was quiet.
Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to be mostly quiet over 18-20 Nov.
