Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2021 Feb 08 1230 UTC.

Solar Activity

24 hr Summary: Solar activity was very low. The solar disk was spotless. There were no Earth-directed CMEs observed in available imagery.

Forecast: Solar activity is expected to remain at very low levels on 08-10 Feb.

Energetic Particles

24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux reached moderate levels and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux remained at background levels.

Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to be normal to moderate levels throughout the forecast period (08-10 Feb). The greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to remain at background levels.

Solar Wind

24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters reflected positive polarity CH HSS influence. Solar wind speed peaked at 546 km/s but decreased to near 410 km/s by the end of the period as CH influence waned. Total field averaged 5 nT while the Bz component dropped as low as -3 nT. Phi angle was predominately positive.

Forecast: The solar wind environment is expected to remain slightly enhanced throughout the forecast period (08-10 Feb) as positive polarity CH HSS effects wane.

Geospace

24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field returned to quiet conditions quickly as CH HSS effects waned quicker than anticipated.

Forecast: The geomagnetic field is likely to be at quiet to active levels on 08 Feb as CH HSS influence persists. Quiet to unsettled conditions are expected on 09-10 Feb as CH HSS effects gradually subside.
