Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2021 Feb 12 1230 UTC.
Solar Activity
24 hr Summary: Solar activity was very low. There were no sunspots on the visible disk. There were no Earth-directed CMEs observed in available imagery.
Forecast: Solar activity is expected to remain at very low levels on 12-14 Feb.
Energetic Particles
24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux reached moderate levels and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux remained at background levels.
Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to be at normal to moderate levels through 14 Feb. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to remain at background levels.
Solar Wind
24 hr Summary: The solar wind continued at background levels this period with total
field averaging 2-6 nT, and unremarkable Bz. Wind speeds ranged from 325-350 km/s. The Phi angle oscillated between both positive and negative solar sectors.
Forecast: The solar wind environment is expected to be at background levels through 13 Feb. Parameters are anticipated to become elevated 14 Feb with the onset of negative polarity CH influence.
Geospace
24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was quiet.
Forecast Mostly quiet conditions are expected for 12-13 Feb. Quiet to isolated active periods are likely 14 Feb as a negative polarity CH HSS begins to move into a geoeffective position late in the UTC day.
