Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2021 Apr 10 1230 UTC.

Solar Activity

24 hr Summary: Solar activity was very low with a spotless visible disk. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed.

Forecast: Solar activity is expected to be very low on 10-12 Apr.

Energetic Particle

24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux was at normal to moderate levels and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux was at background values.

Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to be at normal to moderate levels on 10-12 Apr. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to continue at background levels for 10-12 Apr.

Solar Wind

24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters were indicative of waning CH HSS influence. Solar wind speeds decreased from ~400 to ~325 km/s. Total field ranged from 1-4 nT while the Bz component varied between +/-3 nT. Phi angle was predominantly positive.

Forecast: Solar wind parameters are expected to be at nominal levels for the majority of 10 Apr. Beginning late on 10 Apr through 11 Apr, a weak connection with a negative polarity CH HSS is possible which is expected to slightly enhance solar wind parameters. A return to mostly nominal levels is expected by 12 Apr.

Geospace

24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was quiet.

Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to be at quiet to unsettled intervals on 10-11 Apr due to weak, negative polarity HSS effects. A return to quiet levels is expected by 12 Apr.
