Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2021 Jun 06 1230 UTC.
Solar Activity
24 hr Summary: Solar activity was very low. Slight decay was observed in Regions 2827 (N12W63, Hsx/alpha) and 2829 (S18E03, Cro/beta). New spots emerged in the SW quadrant near plage Region 2828 (S31W56) and was numbered as Region 2830 (S26W53, Bxo/beta).
EUV darkening was observed beginning at 05/1912 UTC in GOES/SUVI 195 imagery just SE of Region 2829. An associated narrow CME was observed off the east limb in SOHO/LASCO C2 imagery beginning at 05/2036 UTC. Initial analysis suggests that the CME is directed off the Sun-Earth line.
Forecast: Solar activity is expected to be very low, with a slight chance for C-class flares, on 06-08 Jun.
Energetic Particle
24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux was normal to moderate and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux was steady at background levels.
Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to be normal to moderate over 06-08 Jun and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to persist at background levels throughout the forecast period.
Solar Wind
24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters were nominal. Solar wind speed ranged from 304-341 km/s while the total field was at 2-7 nT. The Bz component was between +4/-5 nT and phi angle was predominantly in a positive solar sector.
Forecast: Solar wind parameters are expected to be near nominal levels on 06-07 Jun. An enhancement in total magnetic field strength and solar wind speed is anticipated on 08 Jun from the onset of influence from a negative polarity CH HSS.
Geospace
24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was quiet.
Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to remain mostly quiet on 06-07 Jun. An increase to active conditions is likely on 08 Jun due to the onset of a negative polarity CH HSS.
