Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2021 Jun 07 1230 UTC.
Solar Activity
24 hr Summary: Solar activity was very low. Slight growth was observed in Regions 2829 (S18W10, Dao/beta) and 2830 (S26W66, Dso/beta). New flux emerged just north of Region 2827 (N12W79, Hsx/alpha) and was numbered new Region 2831 (N24W76, Bxo/beta). No Earth-directed CMEs were observed.
Forecast: Solar activity is expected to be very low on 07-09 Jun with a chance for C-class flares on 07-08 Jun decreasing to a slight chance on 09 Jun.
Energetic Particle
24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux was normal to moderate and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux was steady at background levels.
Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to be normal to moderate over 07-09 Jun and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to persist at background levels throughout the forecast period.
Solar Wind
24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters became slightly enhanced after 07/0615 UTC. Total field increased from 3 nT to 11 nT as well as an increase in density. Solar wind speed increased to around 370 km/s. During this time, phi angle started to become variable.
Forecast: Solar wind parameters are expected to remain slightly enhanced through 07 Jun due to a sector boundary crossing followed by a CIR. Further enhancements in solar wind speed are expected on 08-09 Jun due to the onset of HSS conditions.
Geospace
24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was quiet.
Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to be quiet to unsettled through the rest of 07 Jun. An increase to active conditions, with a slight chance of G1 (Minor) geomagnetic storm levels, is likely on 08 Jun due to the onset of a negative polarity CH HSS. Unsettled conditions are likely on 09 Jun as HSS effects persist.
