Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2021 Aug 10 1230 UTC.
Solar Activity
24 hr Summary: Solar activity was at very low levels. Region 2853 (N23, L=194) was unremarkable and decayed to plage. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed in available coronagraph imagery.
Forecast: Very low solar activity is expected to continue on 10-12 Aug.
Energetic Particles
24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux was at normal levels while the greater than 10 MeV proton flux remained at background values.
Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to be at normal to moderate levels on 10-12 Aug. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to continue at background levels.
Solar Wind
24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters were at mostly background-like parameters with slight enhancements. Total field was 1-7 nT, the Bz component ranged +/- 6 nT, and wind speeds were ranged from ~360-410 km/s. Phi became predominantly negative.
Forecast: Slight enhancements in the IMF are possible on 10 Aug due to weak, tenuous -CH HSS influence. Ambient, background-like conditions are expected to prevail 11-12 Aug.
Geospace
24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was quiet.
Forecast: Field conditions are expected to be at quiet to isolated unsettled levels on 10 Aug due to weak -CH HSS effects. Quiet conditions are expected on 11-12 Aug.
