Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2021 Dec 06 1230 UTC.
Solar Activity
24 hr Summary: Solar activity reached low levels due to multiple C-class flares originating from Regions 2898 (S24, L=236) and 2902 (N13, L=201). Multiple CMEs were observed from the region near 2898 but none have an Earth-directed component.
Forecast: Solar activity is expected to be very low with a chance for further C-class flares. Very low levels are expected to return on 07-08 Dec.
Energetic Particle
24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux reached high levels with a maximum value of 1,288 pfu at 05/2010 UTC. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux maintained background levels.
Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected to be at moderate to high levels on 05-07 Dec. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to continue at background levels.
Solar Wind
24 hr Summary: Solar wind parameters were mildly enhanced under persistent HSS conditions. Solar wind speed averaged near 460 km/s. Total field ranged from 4-6 nT while the Bz component was between +4/-6 nT. Phi angle was positive.
Forecast: Solar wind parameters are expected to slowly decrease on 06-07 Dec as HSS conditions wane. A return to nominal levels is expected by 08 Dec.
Geospace
24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field was quiet to unsettled.
Forecast: Quiet to unsettled levels are expected to continue on 06-07 Dec as HSS conditions begin to wane. A return to mostly quiet levels is expected on 08 Dec.
