Here is the current forecast discussion on space weather and geophysical activity, issued 2022 Nov 28 1230 UTC.
Solar Activity
24 hr Summary: Solar activity was very low. The four numbered regions on the visible solar disk were all relatively stable and quiet. No Earth-directed CMEs were observed by available coronagraph imagery.
Forecast: Solar activity is expected to be very low with a chance for C-flares over 28-30 Nov.
Energetic Particle
24 hr Summary: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux reached high levels with a peak flux of 2,400 pfu observed at 27/1730 UTC. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux was at background levels.
Forecast: The greater than 2 MeV electron flux is expected reach high levels on 28-30 Nov and the greater than 10 MeV proton flux is expected to persist at background levels.
Solar Wind
24 hr Summary: The solar wind environment reflected continued positive polarity CH HSS influences. Solar wind speeds gradually increased over the course of the period from ~410 km/s to ~600 km/s. Total field also gradually increased from 6 nT to an average of 9-10 nT. The Bz component underwent a few prolonged, southward deflections reaching -10 nT. Phi was predominantly positive.
Forecast: An enhanced solar wind environment is expected to prevail over 28-30 Nov due to the influences of multiple positive polarity CH HSSs.
Geospace
24 hr Summary: The geomagnetic field reached G1 (Minor) geomagnetic storming levels.
Forecast: Primarily unsettled conditions, with a few daily active periods, are expected for 28-30 Nov under positive polarity CH HSS effects.
