An upcoming QST article will feature a more simple receiver project for VHF
DFing, using a loop and a 120-MHz receiver. Not sure what issue.

The Radio Shack based article is available at:

I saw that in their latest on-line catalogue, Jim -- but I'm cheap! I
found a September 1992 QST article (not initially found through the on-line
index) that discussed using an earlier Radio Shack RX, but it looked like a
lot of work -- had to put a shield box around the receiver, because it was
unshielded, and build an attenuator for the input to defeat the AGC and
prevent it from evening out the nulls when you get close.
