By the way, I read more careful and see it is a color complaint and you have
an external tuner and signal processing system of some type.
In that case I'd start with the most simple system possible with the minimum
necessary devices sharing a common outlet strip after the filtering on the
power cord and the leads bundled up as much as possible. No speakers, no
VCR, no external cables. I'd only add a small wire to the antenna port to
inject enough signal from a local channel to see color.
I'm not sure if cheap small battery powered S-video test generators are
available, but that would be an ideal way to test the CRT for internal RFI
problems.
You could connect one cable at a time to the system and see when the problem
appears.
