[RFI] Portable Shortwave Antenna

I'm planning to do a little RFI checking soon.  First, I plan to check
out the RF environment around a home I am considering moving to.  Second,
I plan to check out the RFI from various TV's before I buy them.
I'd like to use my FT-817.  Can someone recommend a simple, inexpensive
antenna that would work well for this kind of exercise?  Any other tips
for me on this type of activity would be appreciated.
