Subject: [RFI] FCC Forum on Wireless Broadband

The FCC will be hosting an all-day forum on Wireless Broadband
Technology
on Wednesday, May 19th. This is BIG DEAL, a real dog-and-pony show!

----

"Wireless Broadband Forum - 9:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

"The Wireless Broadband Forum will examine the technological, economic,
and regulatory factors that influence wireless broadband deployment.
Wireless broadband business, technology, and regulatory experts will
share their knowledge, experiences, and views on the future of the
industry. Chairman Powell will provide opening remarks, and each
Commissioner will be moderating a panel."

----

The program is open to the public and will feature separate technology
demonstrations across the hall from the forum in the FCC Headquarters in
Washington, DC. from noon to 5 pm.

While I do not know what technologies will be demonstrated, it might add
some interesting 'spice' if some enterprising amateur had a (portable)
HF
radio on-hand to demonstrtaea what BPL does to HF signals.

I urge you to attend this forum.
