Hi Mike,
The only thing mysterious about this RI is the location. It is power line
noise, no doubt.
By no means should you shake or hit the pole. The source may be due to
symptoms from a bad situation. When you hit the pole you'll be affecting
several poles not just the one you're hitting. Shaking guy wires is so much
more dangerous than you've ever imagined. All downed power lines are
preceded by an arc and sometimes preceded by someone shaking them.
