Hi Eric,

cant't speak for Philips bulbs as I am using Osram bulbs. No problem 
whatsoever and we have quite a few of those bulbs in our house. The 
worst QRM makers are (low-quality) switching power supplies from low 
voltage halogen lamps :(.
