Recently I spent time at work looking for a PS to use inside an EMI
chamber.  None of the ones on hand (nclude some older Sorensons) were
RF-quiet. Just because a PS is "linear" does not make it clean; many such
use SCR PWM pre-regulators that are quite dirty.  That said, an EMI test
chamber is much more demanding than many other uses to which a power supply
might be put.
