Last week I tried out a Linksys wireless router out in
the house, and it put forth lots of nasty birdies and
some hash on 20m. Tried a second one with the same
problem. I ended up running a wire thru the attic
into my daughters bedroom to get her new computer
wired to the internet. However, I found out that what
I thought was a wired router is actually an ethernet
hub, so I cannot get all 3 computers in the house
connected to the internet because our ISP will only
give out 2 IP addresses.
So now I am looking for a RF quiet router. It doesn't
need to be wireless, since the wires are all in place.
Does anyone have any suggestions for a router which
they have found to be quiet?
