My pursuit of the smaller thickness core is related to size and space
considerations of the current application. I think I can get by with the
0.5" thickness core from Fair-Rite -- or stack a pair of FT-50-43 cores as
Larry suggested. That would net a thickness of just under a half-inch. Tnx
