I posted the below post about six weeks ago. I want to thank everyone for the
comments and most of the suggestions were tried.
I had a service call guy come out. He was really on top of his game. He had
never heard of RF. My jaw dropped.
Obviously, he didn't accomplish anything.
A week or so later I called again and insisted on talking to someone that had
some knowledge of electronics.
I finally spoke to a lady in Denver that was pretty much on the ball. Within
two days I had another serviceman come out and he was stumped as well for a
while. He rewired all the outside connections and it was better.
Finally he went to his truck and brought in an older receiver/DVR and guess
what! It is fixed!
I am very happy to get this fixed so I can go back to contesting!

I just switched from Dish Network to Direct TV. Previously with Dish, I had no
interference problems from my station.
Since I have switched, Nearly every time I key up with 100 watts on most any
band it turns the DVR off. Literally turns it off and has to be turned back on
again.
I did a quick search in the archive but didn't find anything.
It was happening with dipoles only two days ago and now it is happening with a
2 el 5 band quad at 40 feet. The antenna is working gangbusters and have no
detectible RF in the shack.
Any ideas??? Help! SS CW this weekend. Hi!
