Speaking of which...  Check out Mouser, items such as "Qualtek EMI power 
line filters" and "Schurter 5130 Series", I've been pulling these from 
computers and power supplies for years, they can handle up to 20A and add 
brute force EMI/RFI to a device right at the cord/chassis.
