Truncation and word wrapping is mainly a function of the SENDER's
email program, not the particular mail reflector (although the mail
reflector might strip out HTML portions of a message, which might have
retained the long lines).

Occasionally the RECEIVER's email program plays a part, by
re-constructing word-wrapped lines.  But I still say it is mostly the
sender's email that does the truncation ... including whether or not
those <> brackets do anything.

Don't blame the reflector.
