Hi all,
Just a quick thank you note to the list... As a result of the
discussions here, I had written into my install contract that the system
I purchased would meet PART 15 requirements... I chose to use Part 15,
as opposed to any other language as it leaves me in the drivers seat if
there is an RFI issue, and the vendor is happy because it is something
from a 3rd party... They figure it must be OK if the Feds are
helping! :)
They came out and fixed a slight RFI issue within a day of my call...
They also contacted the manufacture prior to install to insure there
would be no unfixable installs...
We ALL need to make sure of this, prior to installs...
I got them to add the proviso to the install contract by telling them it
was a "show stopper" if they did not include it. They were happy too,
as they know darned well some other contractor would include it... All
of this was done in a polite and friendly way. The result... Not a
peep out of my new heater system, and fans.
So thank you all for bringing this up PRIOR to my purchase... It came
up a few months ago, when I bought my system! I have been meaning to
thank you all, but this reminded me!

Dave
