It is also amazing the response and cooperation when you point out that if
you can find it with a little hand held radio that the fcc could find it
just driving by, and they show up with local law enforcement backup... or
you could just show the local police how to find grow operations with their
car radios! The one I found here would pretty well blanket the AM broadcast
band.

What Jim says. We had a case like this in Holland, Michigan. At first the
neighbor with the noise had an attitude. Then, we very nicely told him we
don't care. For one week. Then when we come back, we will report the finding
to the sheriff. We told him "the noise will go away, one way or another".
You have to be very very nice, very firm, and make sure there are two of
you. Do not threaten, just promise.
