Gang,
Pretty much solved the other "swooshing/pulsing" sound as it was definitely
coming from this QTH. I shut off all CB's except the RR and the sound
disappeared. Turned each breaker on, one at a time and the noise did not
re-appear. I noticed, tho, that one breaker was sort-of in "no mans land" so
reset it a few times. Will replace that one at a later time.
The other noise/QRM, which is mostly some form of OTHR is not present today
due to 12m being shut down this a.m. (09OCT13). This QRM is most likely
coming from the EU community someplace (60°) as it has QSB and was verified
by another amateur up the street from me. It seems to scan the 12m band and
no set freqs. It is a pulsing sound, like every 1/4 sec or so...so I am not
nutz...yet !
