The problem is much larger than product coming in from large manufacturers.
With so many small vendors from Asia getting thousands of electronic
products into the U.S. via direct mail each and every day, the battle is
already lost with respect to importation penalties. That leaves the
unintentional radiator provision under Part 15 as the only realistic means
for resolution - at least here in the U.S.. So, we're left with either
localizing and resolving the source as Jim suggests -- or pick up stakes and
move into controlled, rural areas.
