Hi,
is it possible that the fluorescent lamps circuitry in my aquarium has
started generating RFI just recently, or did I just never notice it
before? The starter/ballast is a single sealed unit:

With the tubes connected it wipes out from about 1 MHz to 2 MHz, if I
remove the tubes the noise is greatly reduced but still present, and
changes from wideband trash to more of a pulse type.  
The tubes used are this type:
