I just discovered two nice products from the UK that may be of
interest. They are a noise measurement receiver:

and an active HF Antenna:

The combination should allow one to monitor the local noise floor, track
down a noise source, and null a local noise source. The units are a bit
pricey, but they look well engineered. This post is just FYI as I have
no affiliation and have not tried either device.
