As an added note, some of the induction lights use Mercury vapor.

For those who want to experiment, the external induction lamps have a coil wound around the lamp that "to me" appears to be nothing more than a coiled antenna for that frequency. So, possibly a low power, 27 MHz transmitter with the antenna wound around a fluorescent tube would work. As the source is induction, failed fluorescent tubes should make a good source for lamps. Be careful of lamps that have lost part of the coating on the inside. They can be strong UV radiators, so RFI is not the only danger, after all, UV sterilizers are just fluorescent lights without the phosphor coating..

The physically small antenna should keep RFI to a minimum, but who knows without trying?
