Rob: I once had a problem with 43 MHz paging transmitter getting into an
MATV system at a Gentleman's Club (no, not that kind, but the kind with
leather chairs, cigars, and old guys reading the Financial Times, NOT the
Wall Street Journal). 43 MHz was the TV IF Frequency. I fixed it by putting
a pair of back to back 75 to 300 ohm baluns at the antenna terminals of the
TVs. Interference gone. Same theory as what we are discussing here. --73,
