Not really Paul. I think they are somewhat in denial and they believe
the only way VDSL2 radiates is if there are wiring problems. I think a
better statement is that if the wiring is perfect the RFI is fairly
close to the noise level but this is not true for most installations.

For folks who aren't skilled with SMD/SMT work, one alternative is the DX
Engineering (DXE) active vertical antenna. It would require some mechanical
tweaks for fitting onto a magnetic base. According to the latest DXE
catalog, a similar version that was developed by Jack Smith, K8ZOA (SK) will
be available later this year.
