I have a solar — inverter system in my RV. Getting it to be quiet was a long
labor of love. The Magnum inverter, which comes in most RVs, could not be made
quiet no matter what we did. We tried to work with Magnum and all they did was
stone wall and lie to us. I did not go to the FCC. If you go to an RV park
today and try to operate HF you will be frustrated. The ultimate solution was
to change to a high frequency inverter, the Prosine 2.0
My solar installation was also a problem. Again, if you use the “ state of the
art in efficiency” solar controllers you cannot make them quiet, no matter what
you do. I changed to a less efficient Trace C60 and with liberal use of
ferrites was able to get peace and quiet in the valley.
I am happy to try and help anyone fighting this battle.
