Check out Fair-Rite p/n 2631814002. It's a BIIG toroid. Weil suited to
this application. I just did a group purchase of 150 pieces for our
contesting club. Cost in that quantity was $13.57 each.
Yes, one of these cores right at the point where the cable leaves the
machine would be the way to go. BUT -- FIRST, contact the vendor and ask
him to either fix it or come and get it.
