Mac, I assume you are referring to the brass cable clamps? I use them for
attaching my system ground wires to the 8 foot ground rods. (Well brass
because they are used for wiring, but cast or stainless for wire cables.

Okay, guys. Here are what some folks refer to as "bug nuts." Wonderful
devices for connecting two or more wires. I use them to connect feedlines
to dipoles that use "cobra head" or balun center points. A dang sight
stronger and more reliable than soldering!
I sort of thought they might have been made by Burndy.
You can also use them to extend shorter wires to lower the resonant
frequency of a dipole that you have cut three times and it's still too
short!
