I am not finding much on this in America but quite a lot in Britain. It
seems to be a lot like the VDSL used over the pond.

After 10 years of pleasant country living Verizon has expanded high speed
DSL coverage into my very rural area. Apparently one of my neighbors has
signed up.
I called Verizon with a complaint. My guess is they will send out a
technician who will fiddle with the balance settings, look at his spectrum
analyzer then claim he doesn't see any radiation from his lines.
In the mean time I plan to document things and prepare to contact the FCC.
The next step will likely be planning a move. I doubt the FCC will take
care of it.
