BTW, I had to view this several times to get full impact of what Jose
was saying and showing, but, it is a good showing of what the Horz
Waller Flag can do to (manmade power line) noise.

I think what this demonstrates is how line noise sources that
are on the order of 1/2 to several miles away are still factors
when receiving weak DX signals. In quiet conditions his V
and H Waller Flag would be equal in rx sensitivity, maybe with
V a little stronger, but, it is ALL about the S to N ratio and
a horizontal Waller Flag delivers a better SNR to the receiver,
as observed.
