Purchase a portable SW receiver. When looking at a TV, listen on the SW bands.

You will hear RFI if you are too close on almost any set, but the SW receiver gives you a relative indication of noise generated by any one model.

Don't forget that one TV of model X, may be very different from the next TV with the same model number. Depending on production run changes, not all models are exactly the same... Use that portable radio...

I'm considering the purchase a new 4K TV for the hamshack to use in conjunction with a Geochron Atlas 4K.

Since it's going to be right on top of my gear, I'm wondering what TV technology to avoid in an attempt to keep the HF rig's receiver as quiet as possible.
