Hi Jeff,

That is why I said it was not scientific... If you look at the photo of the test setup, you will see the sampling antenna, that is why I added the photo of the test setup, to show how it was sampled...

73, and thanks,

Dave,

I agree - any excuse to use a SA is a good one (the VNA falls into that same category here).

For your page, what would be helpful is to understand how you were sampling the gadget.  The reason i ask is that just about anything modern has a SPS and that is going to make a detectable RFI pattern. What's most important in my view is how strong that radiation is.  If a 1" bit of wire on the SA input at 10' gives a NF+60 dB print, then that's trouble.  But if you had to make 20 turns of wire around the power cable of the device and use the SA preamp to get the same 60 dB SNR, then that's a different story. Curious.

Hello,

As promised, here is the link to my new Keurig Coffee Maker Classic, as seen by my new spectrum analyzer.  I have been itching for a chance to use this baby...

Scroll to the bottom of the page, there you will see the Keurig on/off, and a shot of the test bed.  It is not scientific, nor was it intended to be...  Just an excuse to use the new SA...  :)
