Variable-speed everything but it’s simply loaded with filtering components.
HI Gary, NA6O
I am faced with having to replace my furnace. Thanks for sharing
details below as I was pondering about this myself too.
Are the filtering components included in Variable Speed controller you
mention by default or did you have to procure and install filter
separately as an proactive measure to combat RFI ?

My top-of-the-line Carrier Infinity system, installed last February, is totally quiet.
Variable-speed everything but it’s simply loaded with filtering components.
It’s also acoustically quiet. Very nice.
Gas furnace model 59MN7B080
Compressor model 24VNA660
Also up at N6RO is a new 3-ton mini-split heatpump from Bryant that is
absolutely RFI quiet.
AND my Mitsubishi mini-split at W6SRR is silent (MUZ-GL12NA).
These systems were all carefully tested by me with my DFing equipment and in
use on all bands with nearby antennas. So yes, there is hope in the HVAC
industry.

Subject: [RFI] HVAC
I'm need to replace my 25 year old HVAC with a new oil furnace and AC
system.
EMIis a great concern. It's a small house and efficiency is of little
importance.
What are the recommended brands and/or models?
