Putting cores with different mixes together in the same stack does not yield
good results, but having two stacks of each mix, does work fine.
I am using 3 cores each of #31 and #43 in a filter (along with a CORCOM AC line
filter). The ferrite works just like you would hope - to broaden the frequency
response of the choke filter.
